Even with this framework, I'm still a little confused as to how to achieve the specifics of my goals (taking table data and laying it over an image in a programmatic fashion). Is there a way to generate the image via filemaker itself (let's say I'd load the script up with the base images), or should I use filemaker to call a python or applescript to generate the image? If that's the case - what would be the way to include that image back in the report?Īs I was writing this it occurred to me I can make a new table for such objects and generate the layout to include the new table as a data source.
